We believe in the importance of connecting with our regional Irish Wolfhound community.  We invite all owners, and all who love and are interested in the breed, to join the Irish Wolfhound Association of the Carolinas (IWAC). 

IWAC has four types of membership:

Regular, Household, Associate (for those 18 years of age and older), and Junior (for those under 18 yrs of age) ~ Scroll down for details regarding each type of membership.

 

Membership requirements:

• If you compete, you must be in good standing with the American Kennel Club (AKC)

• If you are a member of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America (IWCA), you must be in good standing, 

• You must subscribe to the purposes of IWAC (see Home page)

• You must abide by the IWAC bylaws.

Membership runs from January 1 through December 31 of each year. Our primary purpose is to represent of the owners and breeders in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, however, membership is not restricted by where you live.

New members must initially apply as an Associate Member. After two years, Associate Members may apply for Regular or Household membership.

Applications for Associate or Junior membership, do not require member recommendation.

 

Application for Regular Membership requires the names and signatures of two Regular IWAC Members.
